No timing notch and a snorkel = clone.

I recorded this episode of Wheeler Dealers.  Went back and watched again.  When Ed is working on the engine the timing notch is there.  When it came back from body & paint it had been repaired.

And that’s what happens when people who don’t know a model do work on that model...

Best regards,

Steve

But they didn't "fix" the snorkel?

Interesting.

Just going over some old posts, trying to figure out more about Zouave, which is the Wheeler Dealer tii, and came across this post.  Note for the file: Zouave indeed had a notch.  You can see it in the early part of the show.  Somewhere along about 13 minutes in, I think.  Inexplicably, Richard Leong’s paint shop deleted it, something you obviously spotted and on which I commented when bidding.  Truth, stranger than fiction. Re the snorkel, I have been all through the front of the car and can find no evidence that the front was replaced.  If it was, whoever did it should be in the Bodywork Hall of Fame.
