bottlecaps may suck, but..

BASKETWEAVES by far suck the most of any wheel made.  02, e21, e30, e36, e28, whatever.  they suck.

Basketweaves suck.

They look like geriatric sadness.

Leather pants on a 55 year old man.  Or woman.

They are dirty.

They are often fake, or have fake fasteners on them, or hexagonal caps covering lugbolts.

Worst, they are inevitably gold painted.

Bottlecaps are wonderful for exactly 2 reasons:

A.They fit.  Stuff THAT in your stants thread.

II. They are still free.  So you can stuff some way out- of- date

tires on them and they will get that parts car that has no

wheels on it home.  They can then go onto the E30 parts car.

Or even the parts E21.  And then back in the shed until you

need them again.

God forbid you actually DRIVE on them.

t

uses bottlecaps to store his E30 race car...

...because an E30 isn't a safe car either, and it's

light- years better than a 2002

Damn, I thought these leather pants of mine are cool. Guess I'll just use the leather to cover my dashboard.

Loose: Not tightly bound. Subject to motion.
Lose: What happens when you are spell check dependent.

1975 Malaga. It is rusty and  springs an occasional leak.  Just like me.

I know some rather hot women in their 50s...  At least one, anyway.  (She's sitting next to me, can't look too far.)

Dave.

'76, totally stock. Completely.

I think the basketweaves look pretty good.  I took my bottlecaps that I got for free to the recycler and got 40 bucks for them, THAT is the only thing bottlecaps are good for!

It will take awhile. Trying to strategize where the zipper and pockets will go.

The only good shift knobs are the screw-on type and preferably without a roundel on it.

AND

The later style 2002 stock "dog dish" alloy wheels look like mini BOTTLE CAPS and therefore suck.

(so, sell me your set ?)
