would be no justifiable critics'...except that's its a 323is

 

*For anyone that doesn't know the history of the E36 323is...in a word BMW

choked it out with a miniscule intake and exaust to limit HP as to not compete

with the 328is. It's not the quickest 2.5 by any means.

 

I didn't know as much until

I started researching. I found out real quick that by simply adding an M50 intake from the earlier 2.5 (60% more flow)

and a 328is exaust (twice the diameter) that one could add an easy 30+ HP. So from a

stock168 hp to close to 200! Amazing for bolt on items but goes to show how much

BMW handicapped the 323is. Some folks call it the Red Headed step child of the E36 world..
