it is hard to tell but are the rear shock towers dented?  Perhaps  in a past life a bowling ball salesperson owned it.    But Yes, it looks clean, although no close-ups of the rockers.

That car looks like a perfect father-son project. Body looks super clean, just focus on the fun stuff..

I had not looked at the photos, you are right it does have more rust than I initially thought.  Still not terrible but not quite what I was thinking.  
 

(Still may make a good starting point for those in the midwest. I lived in Minnesota for a few years and would call this car "rust free" comparably..)
