Headed to The Watkins Glen Grand Prix Festival!

Headed to the Glen this afternoon to watch the activities and parade laps of the vintage race cars through the streets!  It is a great time and my son will be participating in the Glenkhana (a mini autoX) in our newly acquired E36/5 with an M52 transplant!  I am hoping BMW will be the featured marque soon!  Triumph this year and Alf Romeo next year.  Maybe in 2021.  I hope to post pictures as time allows.

It has a 6 cylinder transplant!  Fun fun fun!

This was a little perplexing as it is badged a 1600 but has square taillights and a post 73 grill.

It won 2nd place in the Group 8 race Sunday AM.  Listed as a 1969 BMW 2002 on the SVRA entry list.
