Beautiful set of Cosmic 13x5.5 alloy wheels

I've heard from a Lotus collector that they were made in both, Magnesium and alloy. He was offering to buy my wheels,

Cosmic's July '66 Brochure stated "Light Alloy Road Wheels LM6 to B.S, 1490.

 

Attached Word doc with composition of both LM6 & LM25 Alloys. Pretty much all useful aluminium alloys will have a wee bit of magnesium, and the % of magnesium in, for instance, Cosmic's MK1 & MK2 wheels was very low.

For the nerds and future Googlers, attached is a Cosmic accessories catalogue from 1966. It shows the wheels I have, the RW13s, which later came to be called Cosmic Mk 1's. The composition is mostly aluminum as Les states. Unfortunately they don't list a weight for my 13" wheels, but the 4 1/2 x 10 wheels for the Minis weighs 5 pounds 15 ounces. A lot of other great period accessories in there.
