Was looking for a photo of how it was installed. Thank you. What size mandrel? Looks like maybe a bicycle spoke would do

Yes, Mike, Paul Winterton was “bending his own” from bicycle spokes...

Maybe after the ‘73 is re-painted, I’ll install braided-cloth fuel lines... ?

Best regards,

Steve

I am too intimidated to point out to a tenured professor that the rubber was "not correct"

At least someone is doing it right! ?

A thing of beauty, Vince!

So when you bought your tii, the hose clip was obviously in place, but was the fuel hose correctly routed as now?

If you are looking for a make-work project, this is a heap of fun.  Yes, a bicycle spoke or 2 or 3.  ?  Go nuts, because it takes a few tries to get a good symmetrical piece.

I locked a 17mm mandrel in my bench vise and started bending.  Then I tried 2 14mm mandrels side by side in the vise to create compound curves.  Snubnose pliers helps.

@conkitchenmodified his piece to direct the hose along a lower route, not rubbing against the fittings on the top of the KF.  Smart.
