Roundie Grilles - Which NOS finish is "most correct"

Did you go to the Kings of Trim?

David,

King of Trim, five years ago, was $1,500-ish to bright-dip all three front NOS grilles. Again, painful, but they did an excellent job. This included the repair of some very minor bends and dents the grilles had acquired during their long storage -- again, one retained an orange label, so it was 1980's or earlier. If I recall, he simply removed and replaced the black-anodized slats of the center grille. He didn't re-anodize them because they were consistent in color and finish. I installed new black OEM slat covers and new OEM corner lenses after the grilles returned home. Neither of those items were NOS; they were simply new.

Regards,

Steve
