Gents, I fear I may have entirely misinterpreted the whole concept of this thread, but here goes anyway...

Before: A picture of my Green Devil taken back in August 2016 (about 6 years into my ownership).

After: Another picture taken of my Green Devil, but this time in June 2018.

Uhmmmm... I sense I'm doing something wrong here??  Help please...

On a serious note though; great to see so many 02's being caringly resurrected.  Very inspiring...  ?  ?

Not to worry, Anders,

Careful analysis of the evidence reveals it was obviously the “other fella’s” fault. I see no evidence that the “Green Devil” is driven in an aggressive or reckless manner... ?

(But maybe you want find a new name, something like “Gentle Green”... ☺️)

Best regards,

Steve

1966 Caribe 1600 with lots of original"surface" ...but very little paint.

Only a thin oxidized layer remained on the lids but almost none on the roof where it had been rubbed for 54 years right through the paint and primer down to metal.

Tom,

It looks great! It’s hard to not love a Caribe ‘66!

And it looks like you stuck some old steel rims on the car, probably just for the re-paint. You’ll likely want to jettison those babies now that the car is all shiny. I’m thinking I could use them on my tii, just for its re-paint, of course! ??

Best regards,

Steve

(Seriously: Caribe and Alpina steelies is one great combo of early car and early rims! Wow!)
