Vintage BMWs at a Local BMW Dealership

Location:  The BMW Store, Cincinnati, Ohio.

The 2002 is touted as having only 21,000 original miles, and is even nicer than it appears in the photos.  From the exterior, the E21 appears to be modified to some sort of M specs.  All I know re: these cars at this time.   I can take more photos if someone needs particular visual details.  Note:  There is a nicely restored BMW 2-wheeler in the background of photo 4.

Would be interesting to know the VIN of the '73 '02.

And how it managed to acquire e30 bottlecaps in only 21,000 miles! ???

Best regards,

Steve

I want the M1 with different wheels.  I do like the color on it very much though.  Mike S. This is pretty close to you, any extra info on them?  Isn't it a little unusual to see THAT many vintage bimmers at a dealership?  My local dealers might have 1, at the most.  (When I say local I mean within 2 hours of me Rochester, Syracuse, Binghamton).

Who owns the cars? Enthusiast Auto Group? A private collector? Is the dealer open for business these days? I want to go see them, but I don't have a pressing need to drive to Cincinnati at the moment.... I'll have to come up with a reason.

+1

“Terrible wheel choices” are a common denominator here: makes me suspect these are part of a single collection. But, remember, ugly wheels are easily changed! ?

Sweet Verona 73 slick top!  Hard to read the dealer badge on the rear...possibly from CT?

Note the replacement (black) wiper blades.  Can easily mount the cool Trico ones from Amazon.

would love to see more pics of it.

jgerock,

The dealer badge reads, "Keeler Motor Car, Albany, NY".  Looks like Keeler is still around.

Jim,

I accidentally deleted comments which should have accompanied the two photos of my project car and the fridge.  The comments would have read...

"Jim, You need a reason to visit?  My garage is a reason!  I can watch you work on my project (photo) and you can feel free to use any of the tools in the special cold tool box (photo).  Afterwords, we can retire to my home and enjoy Belgian beer and G&T's."
