Vintage BMWs at a Local BMW Dealership

2590631 was for sale in the BMW Roundel magazine, Dec '86 for $14k, then again Sep '87 for $9900.

Seller was Charles Conaway, East Greenbush, NY. He stated it had 18k miles, was in outstanding condition and was a 1 Owner car. Don't know if he was the original Owner or a Dealer.

I was at the BMW Store yesterday, dropping off the X5 for it's annual service (last one as it is under warranty...it starts going to Elsen's from here on out).  

 

The M1 is not an M1 color - it is super bright red and the wheels look a little too new for it.  The E21 is cool, except it has a graphic on it that is a little...different.  

 

I have to go back today and get the X5.  I see that the M1 is .4 second faster to 60 mph than the X5.  I don't know what that means.

Scott,

Tell me about Elsen's.  I need a place to take my Z3 M Coupe and 328i.

The M1 also does not have original flared fenders.  Still nice.  

X5 virtually as quick as the M1.  I'd believe it.
