2002 Mis-Listed as a 2002tii

The following car, currently listed on eBay, has tii injection, a tii airbox, and a tii badge. But it, VIN 4223745, is a standard 2002, not a 2002tii.

It lacks the firewall notch, it lacks the dashboard clock, but — most of all — it lacks a tii VIN: 278xxxx for all 1974 model U.S.-spec 2002tii’s. The riveted-on VIN tag, on the right inner fender, is mounted backwards. But I don’t believe this is simply a tii chassis with a non-tii VIN tag. There is a history here. We don’t know it.

I emailed Milfordautoclinic a few days ago to point out the error, as I'm sure they wouldn't want to deceive anyone. Apparently I was wrong as they have not amended the auction.
