wow thats crazy some of you were around when this was printed!

 

this was printed before we landed on the moon which is nuts to me. does that mean a few of you on this forum watched the moon landing live on tv?

Not sure I witnessed the moon landing live on TV, but I still remember when my 5th grade teacher tearfully announced in class that President Kennedy was assassinated.

First grade. It was all that both TV channels carried for what seemed like a couple weeks.

 

And yes, I watched the moon landing live, too. Don't recall the details, just remember it felt amazing. We had 3 channels by then...

PS, my brother and I each got one of those paper Lunar Module models from a gas station give away, we reenacted that landing over and over.

No, the school thing we were referring to was JFK’s assassination, November 22, 1963, not the lunar landing.
