My son gave me these framed old ads and photos years ago but they only recently got hung up.  My old 76 is among the photos in the collage.

Is this a car that parks in Brooklyn NY under the BQE?  I think I saw this when I was back in my former home last month.  If it's the same car I think I also saw the owner. Its rare that you see a car in this condition putting around NYC these days.

It’s a Lidar-scanned 3D model of a ‘very tired’ late model 2002, taken 3 years ago in Brooklyn.  So it’s possible!

At time of shot, t was still registered thru Nov 2021, so likely a runner…

I absolutely love this thread. This photo was taken shortly after I purchased my '71 in Oregon and took it on an ill-advised road trip from Portland to Bend over a McKenzie Pass in a terrible snowstorm. Blew a fuse when I tried to use the high beams and the wipers simultaneously!

2000 CS counts right?

This was my wife's dad's car, in L.A. He sold it and got a 320i when they came out. The whole family pines for this car. Wonder if it's still around somewhere.

(those are coffee stains on the one photo, not on the car).

I used to have all of the BMW adds from the 60 and 70's clipped from  Road and Track, Car and Drive, ETC. Sadly they disappeared when we moved😫.

This was my work area behind a chocolate factory on Staten Island in 1971. A concrete pad was all I needed.  My 1965 1800 is probably getting some part replaced that cost me my right arm at the time.
