RHD Pedal linkage

Recommended Posts

RHD pedal linkage bushes!
Ive been reading about removing the slop in the Tii throttle linkage I decided to fix mine.
So after a tip from Jim Gerock I  placed a fibre washer behind the pivot on the engine side, perfect works like a treat.
But I knew my pedal linkage bushes were shot, so I thought “how hard could it be!!!!”
Patience is a virtue apparently.
Here’s the old and new bushes and also the location.
Now my pedal feels direct and firm, highly recommend doing this.

Where did you source the peddle linkage bushes - my “white” ones are toast like yours.

Was Jim’s tip a tii specific thing, or throttle linkage general, you think?

Thanks

Richard

Jaymic for the throttle bushes and pedal linkage bushes, and yes I believe rhd 02's pedal setups are different from lhd, maybe Tourings are different?

RHD definitely different than LHD, and mine (RHD carb'd Touring) different than RHD tii.
