this is a 240 out of a 1983 320i with the mechanical speedo. i ran this tranny in my 73 roundie for a few years. the only issue was that 3rd gear would pop out only on the downshift. however, if i downshifted into 3rd and tapped the throttle just a tad and then let go, it would not pop out at all. otherwise it drove and shifted great.

i started to pull it apart but don't have the proper puller to get the bellhousing off. i got it a little separated and a few little bits fell out. I have all the pieces.

anyway, got another trans and no longer need this one.

asking $250 + shipping
