WTB NOS Sun Visors

I ran across these a while back from Kevin Hinzmann in Germany.  I was able to find a nice used pair and clean mine up, so I passed on them.

These appear OEM and are advertised as NOS:

Good luck,

As usual, for RHD. The LHD passenger side (with mirror) has been NLA for ages.

Yes it’s LHD I’m after ....

We understand!

Les and I — there are a few others — represent the memory of sunvisors long gone. It has been very long, decades, since true LHD sunvisors have been available. Yet, somehow, the RHD sets remain available, all allegedly in NOS versions. ?

As time goes on, however: a.) we fear that ‘02 owners will forget that the mirror was only originally on the passenger side, and (b.) I’m starting to think that someone is currently reproducing these “NOS” sets: how could BMW’s inventory of RHD sunvisors be so great that they remain freely available 50 years later!

And if they are reproducing RHD sets, why the heck won’t they reproduce LHD sets? Or are simply unaware of the “mirror” thing?

Regards,

Steve
