This Euro-spec 2002 was, no doubt, a beautiful car: likely Fjord-metallic with Navy Blue interior. Since all Euro-spec square taillights are reflected simply as Modell 73 cars (U.S.-spec square taillights are actually distinguished as Modell 74, Modell 75, and Modell 76), the August 1974 manufacturing date places this car near the 1974 versus 1975 model year cut-off. I’m guessing the title — currently mis-placed — lists it as a 1975, not that it matters one iota whether it is a 1974 or 1975!

 

But it’s most recently been stored axle-deep in a muddy bog in the forest. Thus far, at $1,525, doing much better than I anticipated... ?

Maybe the mold, mildew, and moss exaggerate the decline of the car, but I’d be darned careful where I attached a tow hook... ?

Euro cars are awkward when it comes to determining year. If this car was sold in '74 in the UK it would be titled as a '74; if it languished until '75 before being sold, it would be titled a '75. I think a lot of Europe was the same.

For sure the poor car was built in '74.
