Wanted: Nice original trunk bin

Repros were on Ebay made by a guy in the SF Bay Area 2-3 years ago. They were very expensive & shipping was prohibitively expensive nearly doubling the price.

It would make sense to post that info in a topic that was asking for the history on repop trunk bins. This wanted ad just happens to be very clear on what I was looking for and your reply just feels out of place.

Whew! Oops. Sorry: I’ve taken the thread off topic yet again!

Lighten up. Keep it friendly.

If your image of an ideal forum consists of topics moving strictly on a straight line between point A and point B, you will, undoubtedly, be disappointed with this forum. We discuss topics, and we — at least I — often ramble, and that’s the strength and beauty of this forum... ?

We are a community, not an order form.

Hi Steve, taking photos I noticed two holes rear portion top of trunk lid Jack/me missed it, may as well put badge '73 on, also idea about painting rims Jack put spare on and new rim with new tire I bought in trunk ... that tub looks good, I still have a little this and little that never ends like C19     L

I wouldn’t expect a forum topic that is open to discussion or having questions to move from point A to B. This is a simple wanted ad and we both know there is no reason to post here, unless you’re just looking to add posts and boost yourself up,

You can do things however the heck you wish, but Want to Buy and For Sale classifieds on this forum often generate lively and useful discussions.

Nothing any of you have said is useful or helpful though. Just boring.

We are so sorry to disappoint you. Perhaps this forum isn’t a good fit for your needs.

Appreciate the apology and the fact you realized you’re a lame.

@Volkscafe I have a friend in Germany who has a bin that they might be interested in selling. They’ve shipped large parts here many times. BUT, you’re being a childish brat! No Soup for You! Yet...

I am from the Bay Area and remember the Volks Cafe in Santa Cruz know of their stellar reputation in the VW community. Your behavior here is unbecoming of that good reputation in the VW scene. You have been a whiny childish brat towards my friend @Conserv here. I hope you can live up to your good reputation and apologize for being such a brat to my friend.

Unless, you’re of no relation to the Volks Cafe? Then I would ask why you’re masquerading as someone from there?
