Where did that cover come from ? I wonder if a M30 version is available...

I'd mount my fuel filter further away from a hot head.

The filter will always have a air/vapor pocket in it that your fuel pump will need to draw down to the point where it's easier to draw fuel than drop the air pressure in the bubble before the fuel will flow every stroke, second of all a diaphragm pump is not prone to damage by anything small enough to pass through the screen. A simple rule is screens before suction pumps filters afterward.

He does nice air cleaners as well.  The base plate has the velocity stacks built in.

So what does the underside of the valve cover look like especially the oil separator section.  Making the separator larger will reduce the oil carry over out the vent, like the S14 cover where the separator runs from end to end of the cover.
