If you’ve got 3 or 4 Mahle’s, and need to complete the set... perfectly, nothing else will do. I understand.

 

But a majority of this style rim was cast for BMW by F.P.S., not Mahle: same specs, same appearance, same quality. From 10 feet, no one can tell the difference; from 5 feet, you can read the casting data, distinguishing “Mahle” from “F.P.S.”

 

I’m just mentioning this because the F.P.S. versions are easier to find. The F.P.S. versions are part number 36 11 1 114 231, as shown in the parts listing and on the examples shown below. The Mahle versions are part number 36 11 1 112 755, as on the example of the rim you posted above.

Thanks for the suggestion! To be honest, i'm not that fussed on manufacturer... mainly aesthetic. Its for the spare.

I'll search FPS versions.
