Complete AC System

Have two '76 02s.  Thinking of putting AC in the Chamonix driver.  Hot most of the time here.

 

Anyone have a complete system for sale?

Bruce,  In Hawaii, but will be in Santa Fe for a week or so starting Sunday.   Love Boulder.  Used to do some work with NOAA there.

 

Could you shoot me a couple pictures?  Any idea when it last worked?  Any idea what you'd want for it?

Do yourself a favor, if you haven’t already:

 

1. Buy a copy of Rob Siegel’s Just Needs a Recharge, and

 

2. Read it.

 

I’m a believer in ‘02 A/C, and have been dealing with both Clardy and Behr systems for 40+ years. Both, along with Frigiking systems, are proven and workable solutions. But, given that all ‘02 A/C was designed after the car was designed, and installed post-factory, there are substantial limitations to ‘02 A/C, when compared to, for instance, the factory A/C in a 1972 Chevy Impala! Seriously.

 

Rob’s book summarizes years of experience with ‘02 A/C and will help you to get the most out of an ‘02 A/C system.

Just took a look at the book.   CS on the cover.  Will order for sure.

 

Used to have a '73 3.0 CS.  Sold it like a dumb S#IT in early 90s.
