while the ebay auction has ended this is sale is managed by glen shelley auto in erie, co. they're a very reputable enthusiast operated shop out of a plane hangar. they sell tons of cool shit.

...all those tii's on their website (three of them) were from Houston......Not the cleanest of cars.....bunch of un-filled (welded) holes from euro bumper conversions, ad-hoc wiring and poor paint....one would have to go have a close look at them.  Glen Shelley takes great photos though.......that's for sure.

to your point, i did see them once try to pass of a muffler with a gaping rust hole near the band clamp as the best sounding muffler for an e30...

 

In general though I'd say they pick cars well worth owning.

I had several conversations with Alex at Glen Shelly a couple of months ago about a car they were selling.  His descriptions seemed  straightforward and he was very agreeable to my requests for additional pics and a FaceTime session.  He also encouraged me to call the outside mechanic who was doing some work on the car for him, and get a PPI at the shop of my choosing.

 

I think it always makes sense to look pretty carefully at any car as old as an 02, but FWIW, none of my spidey senses were tingling.
