I have some old BMW wheels

Ok, first off I am terribly sorry if I am posting this in the wrong spot. Second, I do not own a vintage BMW but I wish I did.

I recently bought a used work truck, and there was 8 wheels in the bed of the truck. The previous owner said they were off an older BMW and very valuable. Since he has not gave me a title, I am holding the wheels hostage and I would like to know what I am holding onto incase I do not get said title to the truck.

My quick looking, I think they are stock off a 2002 tii, but I am unsure since I always thought these cars were 4 lugs for wheels. Long story short, I'd like to know what these wheels are from, and if they are worth anything.

Thanks so much!

Close up photos of the center of the hubs should reveal manufacturer, manufacturing date, size, etc.

Their offset appears more appropriate for a front wheel drive car than a BMW (rear wheel drive).

Just in case there are no sizes stamped into the face, what is the overall diameter and overall width of the rims?

Here’s the 1972-73 tii rims:

If yours are BMW steel rims, do not quit your day job... ?

Regards,

Steve
