Looking to sell. Want to determine fair/competative value

Description:

Hi 2002 FAQ members. I'm planning on parting with my 2002, but before listing I want to determine a fair and competitive price.

This is a '76 five-speed, Weber, Euro turn signals, pretty clean but was likely tapped at one point. The hood is slightly misaligned and signs of repaint. Very little rust, some located in spare tire well. Interior is nice, clean carpet, some minor dash cracks. Coco mats, vintage Blaupunkt, Momo steering wheel with BMW horn button. Low mileage Pirelli Cinturato CN36 tires on 13" Octavos. This is believed to be a longtime CA car. Weber Motors of San Leandro dealer sticker and Cal Bears Backer sticker on the windshield. The car has passed smog during the five years of my ownership. Odometer reads 37364, clean CA title in hand.

I appreciate the knowledge of the members, your feedback is valued. I'm willing to post more photos or answer questions. Thanks and happy new year.

Runs well, recently tuned. Interior good, couple cracks in the dash, clean carpet, no tears in roof liner, Momo steering wheel, still have original, perfect door cards. Upholstery ok, back and passenger seat no tears, but divers side seat not as good. Thanks for the feedback.

... and a California black plate...

Mario,

I suspect those are modern black plates. I’m not a Californian, but I believe black plates ended more-or-less with the ‘60’s, and there were no vanity black plates back in the day...

Regards,

Steve

69’ is the last year of original black plates. Blue plates following that then a few years of sunrise plates. Then white, then white with cursive script if I recall. They started reproducing black (vanity plates) back in late 2015 early 2016 if memory serves. Vanity plates started in the blue era.
