Needs a classy radiator

@irdave note the coils, the VW/Audi like we came up with.  I see they put a stamped metal hold down on each.

Overall a very nice neat engine installation.

I don't see a cam sensor, must be set up as wasted spark/semi-sequential injection,

Coils were all you buddy.  Car sure is looking great.  And not all of us need to have a NASCAR radiator, just sayin'.

Engine Management?  Interested in the details of your ignition setup.

We carried over the system from the M3 that the motor came from. Re-wiring it to work in the 2002 was a challenge.

??? The old Motronic with logic level ignition coil control?

Well, that's what I thought too.  But he did say the ECU that the engine came with, not necessarily the OE stock ECU...

My Bad. I checked with Jim and he used MS-3 Pro system. Apologies for the confusion. When we started this project we discussed using the original M3 Motronic unit. I think once they got into it it became unworkable and they switched. The owner is usually the last to find this stuff out. ?

Thanks for the confirmation.  I'm headed down that same path for mine.

Quite a capable MS system for the car.  It appears to be a buy out item for MS. and similar to the Haltech 1500.

I see @Mark92131's engine is already set up with a crank position sensor and 36-1 wheel, rheostat TPS from the pic.

A radiator shop is a good place to take a leak.

I have no idea what I'm doing but I know I'm really good at it.

Yes, I'm going to need plenty of help figuring out how to hook it up when I am ready to stab it into my 1970 BMW 1600 when it comes back from paint.
