haha! Truthfully, I am only partially sold on the name. The other front runner is "Earl" which is also good and is the name written in the owner's manual with a phone number! I haven't called that number yet...

Since it's always good to have goals in front of you, I have the same goal from 2019, 2020 and forecasted 2022....get my car painted.  

Life has gotten in the way raisin youngins with all their pre-pandemic activities, now they're a bit older and things have slowed down, but unfortunately work is getting in the way.  Guess I don't want to look back after they're all growed up, and wish I would a spent more time focusing on the car, right?

3. New Rear bumper and rear panel repair

4. Oil pan and front cover leaks fix

5. Door panels update

6. Recaro seats recover

7. Wheel Bearings

8. Brake Job

9. Laguna Seca Track Day

10. Paint and refurb my extra BBS wheels

I plan to do everything I possibly can in 2021. It all comes down to what is & isn't cancelled or postponed.

2020 was a big year so 2021 will just be a few projects .

1.  Fitting some Yokahama AD021r tyres 185-70-13 (currently in transit from Ireland to Australia).

2.  Relocating the battery to tge trunk.

3.  Possibly doing a plenum & cold air intake for the webers. 

4.  Hopefully some E24 rear seats will come my way.

I accomplished a lot on my car in 2020, and I have quite a list going for 2021.....here are a few of the top items from my 2021 list:

• Install new rotors & repack wheel bearings (Done)
• Install Bilstein Front Strut Inserts (Done)
• Install 5 speed with lightened Flywheel (I have all the components, just need to get time in the garage)
• Install AFR Gauge in the seatbelt indicator pod
• Install Header
• Figure out which exhaust system to go with (I have a stock system, I have an IE system, and I have a Supersprint muffler with the dual tips)... the stock and IE leave a bit to be desired sound wise, but I actually think the IE is quiet because of the resonator design and would actually sound better with the stock resonator attached (I tried it in the garage). The Supersprint sounds great but I am having trouble getting it to line up properly, and the mounts need to be modified because it is set up for an early car.  

 

That is part of the list... I guess I need to get to the garage ?

I was lucky enough to attend a race car seminar with Claude Rouelle years ago.  He told a story about replacing all the bushings on the car with rose joints.  Worth every penny and every hour of work to do it.  Said you could see the difference in the handling from the stands.
