**CAR STOLEN**

Hi friends, my classic light blue 1971 BMW 2002 was stolen Saturday night in Boise, Idaho and I’m asking you to keep your eyes peeled. There was apparently 3 vintage cars stolen in the Boise area over the weekend - this 1973 VW Bus and this 1964 Jaguar XKE

My BMW was seen being loaded onto a flatbed truck around midnight Saturday night in the Hillcrest Country Club area on Boise’s Bench.

(*Note - It has a clean and clear title, so it was not impounded or repossessed.) Idaho plate, number 1A VG501.

Please share this around. If you see or know anything or have a hunch, please contact Boise Police immediately. Thanks so much!

-Matt

Sooo sorry to hear about your car!!!!!!!

Based on the list of the other classics stolen, this sounds like a "steal-to-order" job.

Please alert authorities at the western port cities...Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Long Beach, San Diego.

Sounds like these cars may have been snatched for overseas scoundrels.

Very sorry to hear!

I would list the VIN here — it’s the best means to verify the car.

And... if it’s not already in this forum’s Registry (choose Browse / Registry / Add new vehicle), I would enter it in the Registry, along with photos and its last whereabouts.

I do hope you recover it.

Regards,

Steve

Matt, I grew up in Boise (swimming in the Hilcrest CC pool), reaching out to my friends back there right now.  Really really stinks to hear this, hopefully they catch these snakes asap.

Hey, thanks a ton! I grew up swimming in that same pool! :) Really appreciate you sharing this.
