Wiring for euro plate lights??

What am I missing here? Two grounds joined together and two positives joined together to plug into plugs in trunk. Keeps blowing fuse 8. I am no electrical expert but thought this was right. Any help appreciated! Led bulbs so should not be blowing the fuse load wise.

Have you run a wire from the negative battery terminal to one side & positive from the other side with bumper as ground?

I usually bench test with a battery charger first.

Incandescents are inexpensive.

It would be just perfect if I just happened to put both of them in wrong! ?

There's something to be said about the original bulbs!!

As Esty said, the screws that hold the lamp assy to the bumper act as ground/earth. Power from 'green-red' wire in the trunk that lit up your USA lights before.
