Found Wtb: front bumper overriders

Have had good luck here with parts thanks to this great community. Now I’m on the hunt for a pair of decent European style overriders(bumper guards) for my front bumper. Not really interested in the new repops by 02bumpers. Would prefer original used condition. Thank you!

That style was replaced by larger front overriders with the April 1971 Modell 71 facelift, so fairly rare everywhere because they’re older. They’re almost un-seen in the U.S. because they only came on 1966 and early 1967 1600-2’s, being replaced during the 1967 model year by the larger, and less “pointy”, U.S. overriders.

 

Just adding my two cents so you can better judge what price is reasonable… ?

Hey, everyone, I keep getting replies in regards to the North American style bumper guards. I appreciate the replies, but I'm looking for the smaller European style bumperettes like the ones pictured. Anyways, I ended up finding a pair on eBay for $285. Thanks again.
