WTB: Stock, Black Front/Rear Seats for 1974 2002tii

Out here in California, the heat and UV Rays are particularly harsh on interior vinyls.  While this may be asking a lot, I'm in hope of finding front/rear black vinyl seats in original - or near original condition  - for a very nice - and quite original - 1974 2002tii.   

 

The 1974 interior has a unique stitched pattern and the bucket seat recline lever is also specific to the year.  Other (1975 and 1976) black interior pieces will be considered

 

Will pay shipping to the San Francisco Bay Area for the right pieces.

Good luck in your search Delia. I fear you may have to expand beyond the Bay area. As you mentioned California sun is particularly harsh on vinyl.

 

I have heard an adage similar to this many times: For great exteriors go to the dry, hot locations. For great interiors go to the cold, cloudy locations.

I know: not original vinyl, not original color welting. But... dye the welting black and use these until you build/find the perfect original-appearing front seats! And if that takes a long time, so be it!
