I would prefer to have an in tank  fuel pump and a filter next to the tank under the car or put that fuel pump and filter underneath the car below the rear passenger seat like the factory tii fuel pump.

s14's originally had a two pump system.  the low pressure feed pump is most likely in the tank since the e30 pump drops into 02 tank.    my lp is there and the hp is also in the trunk, but behind the brace so if there is ever anything in the trunk it won't get hit.  trunk mounted fuel pumps are normal for track cars.  under car or in trunk..either is fine.  not crazy about subj car not having any protection around the pump though.

not the case elsewhere in subj car, but function over form.  bummer, bunch of holes in my dash!  LOL!

I read the comments here and because of that carefully looked over all the photos and read the add.

Nice 90% car some solid work some things that were not yet mentioned that need attention. The biggest positives are the S14 and trans are there with a debatable degree of sort and I like the exhaust route concept. What is that worth? Ask someone who is completing an M2 in today's money.

What I don't like are the inaccuracies in the written text that sometimes seem an intentional distract.

Only because single 3 bar pumps weren't available yet.  2 pumps aren't needed anymore, and add unnecessary complexity to the system with more elements subject to failure.  Single 3 bar in-tank and in-line pumps are readily available.  I've always used a single pump in all my systems and have used both single in-tank and single in-line designs.

A radiator shop is a good place to take a leak.

I have no idea what I'm doing but I know I'm really good at it.

The guy who did this car here in Finland did start this (his) project a bit earlier than i did. We didn't know each other at that time. Then i found out about his build (a word gets around you know) and we talked some and he was very helpful to assist me to get my details right for MOT. I'm pretty convinced that he kept good records about the car (as suggested in the ad). The car performed quite well on some track day events and i believe he sold it because he bought E36 M3 next.

My ":D " was cause i never thought i'd see any car on BaT that i'd know so it was kinda surprise to see it there.

When he was selling it i would not had any concerns to buy it if i'd had the money and not my own M2 (i did build mine a little differently).

I know the builder too. He's a proper fellow and I would trust his work. I think the car didn't see a thorough restoration at any point but he modified it bit by bit. It was oriented for track days, hence ground clearance was important for exhaust. Actually I have the rear brakes from this one in my green car ? For a year or two he had e21 drum setup from all new parts before going to discs.

I like the two tone outlook it has now, and the wheels are nice too!

And this is what the images show.

A solid driver not a cosmetic first restoration but a car that has been explored and enjoyed on street and track.

Like any used car you would want to do a nut and bolt and go through each system before driving it.

Again nice car.

The red on grey is not for me. Maybe a decal? (wrap to hide the red)

$15250 with 5 days left.  Anybody want to bet it breaks 35k?

It's only money :D

Ray

Stop reading this! Don't you have anything better to do?? :P
Two running things. Two broken things.

$15k, that's sad.  There is an S14 engine w/transmission on S14net that had been run to death at 175K miles on it that the guy wants $12 k.

Being in the Netherlands will hurt it sale I think.  Five days is forever on BAT,so no worrys on 15k right now.

My guess, and it is a guess mid 40k RNM.

BAT will probably see action in the last 5 min of the auction

I say $60k range if any recent sales mean anything

Here's a newly acquired clean M2 behind my car for a new exhaust

I don’t know about 60k. I think the Netherlands thing will scare off some of the people who’ve bid up lately.  Passing 35k is a slam dunk.  I’m thinking it’ll end up in the 40k to 50k range.  I’ve been wrong before though!?

I still think the floor pan fab work to accommodate the exhaust was very poorly executed.  It’s gonna be a problem going forward based on what I see in the in the photos, but that may not worry some folks.

At first I didn’t see that, but so far I’ve seen in person a 2002 Turbo & 2002 S14 originally from the Netherlands here in Los Angeles but it’s goi g to be interesting to see
