I'm thinking more scalloped pianos because they are pop up with valve reliefs or hot tub because they look like a hot tub with a deeper middle part lol.

Presumably the hot tub ones make for more relaxed cruising?

Great post as I rediscover my M10 build from the late 1980s.  I've got the '71 121 Head with Fly Cut Euro Tii 10:1 pistons.  Running the Norris 340 with Carillo Rods.

From my understanding the 340 refers to the valve lift.  I never had an original Cam Card, but from an older 2013 post here's what I found: 

Norris 340 

Intake 57deg open

93. Close

Exhaust 93 deg open

57. Close

Duration 330

Lobe centers 104

340 lift : 0.340" x 1.3 x 25.4 mm/inch = 11.2
