1969 BMW 1600-2, born 4/30/69 (1569103).

Outstanding condition.  Runs great, no known issues mechanically or structurally.

A PO replaced the original motor with a 2002 motor.  During the PO restoration work a late model nose was fitted (assuming they could not source an early version).

The door cards are off, having Aardvark plywood backers installed.  I will replace the interior photos once I get them done and installed.

Non matching nose, non matching motor, painted engine bay and trunk, late dash, missing center console, paint color doesn’t look like riviera. The originality of this car is gone. That being said it does look like a solid car. For what you’re asking underside, rocker, spare tire well, shock tower photos should be included in your listing. If the car is rust free I’d put the price in the mid to high teens

i would buy a gallon of urethane paint, a pint of Japan Dryer and some thinner at Lowe's or Home Depot, they will color match the car paint...then with a Preval Sprayer, mask and spray the engine bay to match the car...if the trunk is rough textured, you can roll it...i've done it several times....if you search there are pictures of my 76 as well as a thread where someone else followed my suggestion with their inka car
