reversing it at re-installation can cause it to hook on to the heater return hose

at full throttle. At the very least, this can soil a pair of shorts & enlarge eyeballs...

Maybe include info on how to identify the carbs, like how to tell a 32/36 DG__ from a 38DG__, and where to find the model number on the base. You might also want to mention that DGEV's are generally stamped as DGAV's. Also, on early 12 fuse cars fuse #11 is the best place to get power for the electric chokes. Great job on the post though!

i know very little about carb tuning. I've messed

around a bit but it was only by "feeling" and without

actual knowledge.

i think the links kinda suck on the Weber tuning

part.

My request is that the information is included in

your article. There is probably enough people here

to put together the info needed (into a chart or

something) on these carbs for basic tuning specs.

When I first got my 02, your photo of the idle screw

would have helped a bunch. more photos like that

for the idiot-carb person (like myself) would be

great.

maybe photos of how to improve carb linkage?

maybe that will be chapter two...

with my little whiny requests aside, great job!!!

these articles are truly appreciated! This site

rocks!!
