2002 Haus Calendar History questions

Finally got my calendar. Nice pics. It came creased and bent via USPS. Sure wish they had used some cardboard stiffeners in the packaging.

I've read the history items and have a few questions:

March-1975 Specialist version "A" and "B" models are sold. What's that?

June-1975 BMW ceases production of the entire series except the 1502. Does that mean that all 1976 models were produced before the end of

Dec. 1975? I didn't know that. Mine's October 1975.

October-1973 Blacked out grill, square taillights, etc. are introduced. We all know these are officially 1974-76 models, why would the calendar say

1973 (even though I know that 1974 models began production in 1973). Or, were there 1973 models in Europe with square tails?

December-1971 The RPM limiter is introduced on all models. What's that? Is it in the distributor? Did it continue for the rest of production?

my wife's first 02 was a 73 w/ square tail lights and blacked out grills and wood grain gauge cover etc.

car is now in SF and belongs to my brother. that 02 was much fater than either of our 73 tii. we decided it was a 74 model but titled early in 73.

nad it had suspension techniques springs and sway bars. handled like it was on rails!
