Motor rebuilt by HanerHauss, but the VIN doesn't come up as a 2002.  Apparently @BarneyT owns or owned this car at one time (2017).  I would be curious about the motor in this one.

Motor was rebuilt my the guy Haner in California way back is my understanding and it runs great, runs so well I almost pulled it and kept it…

 

I decided to Concentrate on getting my e9 coupe redone and set this one free…

Mtr 5485203 shows as a 1979 320i mtr.

the auction started around 10k, but is now at 7k?  How does that happen if there are supposedly 20ish bids?
