Page 54 is interesting....

The 2002 was designated E10, but not by the BMW Board at that time. Mrs/Ms Jouret doesn't know when the E10 Code began and neither does BMW - go figure.

There's a lot of words like probably, presumably, perhaps and quoted 'exact date can't be determined' - additional research might reveal further information - hmmm!

The list of E10 coding given does not jive with the E-Code stickers which were attached to the Euro cars.
