200km (ca 124 mph) for the tii.  That's very good.  Wonder what the is achieved... Both are seriously fun cars.

and an OD  5 speed

Dunno about the diff, but the video mentioned it had a 5 speed.  Didn't say if it was a close ratio or an overdrive.  Since an '02 has the approximate aerodynamics of a shoebox, I'm surprised the wind resistance wouldn't overcome the engine's torque before it reached that speed, especially with an O/D gearbox.

I did the Targa Baja California rally in my '73 tii in 2015, and our group had Federale escorts for portions of the rally. One of which was a long, straight run across Hwy 2 where we were able to drive flat out for at least a 1/2 hour straight. I definitely maxed out the tii (which was probably only about 115 MPH, the 911s that comprised much of the group were doing 130+), and at the time I didn't have a rev limiter--- my co-driver reminded me on a slight downhill section with the tach at 7000 :)

For the record, this was with a stock 4-speed and a 3.64 E21 LSD diff, 205/50R-15 tires.
