WTB: 1967 rear view mirror bracket

I am looking for the horseshoe bracket that the rear view mirror mounts to on a 1967 1600. I was trying to install it the other day and only to find out im missing that piece. Would be grateful if someone has a spare their willing to part with.

My 35” panoramic rear view mirror is cool, but I would like to mount the original back on…still looking

I'm pretty sure I have one that came in a box of stuff I bought years ago. However I'm out of the country till early February '22.

No prob - question: I assume your mirror uses the chromed bracket? I believe the '67 cars did not use the later black version...

Sorry; I misunderstood. What I have is #2 from the diagram to the left. It kind of looks like a horseshoe too lol...

 

or rather a horseshoe crab.

I have exactly what’s pictured. I need the horse shoe/U shaped bracket with 4 screws on it….#4 on realOEM

Perhaps you want to keep your car perfectly stock - and nothing wrong with that - but I'm pretty sure you could make the #2 part fit from that same diagram you posted.

I have the rear view mirror like the one Mac posted a picture of. I am trying to keep the car original by reinstalling the rear view mirror back on. P.O. Removed it and I need the bracket to install it. If you have another method that looks original, I’m listening

The 67 mirror slides into a bracket like this. I hope this image helps you find what you need.

Thanks for the image. I realized that I would have to remove the headliner for the install and I can’t get myself to do that yet.
