To hold the flywheel- Cut an\ starter ring off of a junk flywheel. Cut the ring into 3-4" sections. With the body grinder cut a V into one end of one section in such a way that the valley of the notch is perpendicular to what was the face of the flywheel. Then put a bolt into the most accessible hole in the rear of the block (one of the holes used to bolt up the tranny. Resting the notch cut into the end of the old ring on the bolt engage the teeth with the teeth of the flywheel being installed and do you business. Works like a charm and you have left over sections for all of your freinds. Hand made stocking stuffers.
