From the picture of the steering wheel, it appears that the driver's seat could be a turbo seat.  Page 45, lower right.

Good eye, David. However, the article’s text has lots of detail missing from the photos. The seats are, reportedly, modern (Italian) repros of the factory-option Recaro S seats. Although different from the turbo’s one-off Rentrop sport seats, the fronts of the Recaro S and Rentrop seat bottoms are similar in design.

Best regards,

Steve

I wonder what happened to the borranis?

According to the article’s text, Dave, the Borrani rims were acquired — borrowed? — in that perfectly-patinaed condition, and were installed after the…uh… renovation(?)!

I'm barely into the article and already my favorite line:

"it would be nice if the subframe was more attached to the car"  "more attached" ?

Hilarity...

Paul, isn't that your high school yearbook photo?

List of Activities:  Shop 1  Shop 2  Shop 3  Shop 4

Major: Shop   Minor:  Shop

Holds the School Record for Cuts, Absences, Late Arrivals the few times he was present.

I won't be surprised if Paul was a straight A student with a perfect attendance record. Right!

I think he’s a unicorn and I’m sure it’s rainbows and sparkles coming out the rear…It does make Paul look quite a bit taller…

My degree is actually in Fine Art (Illustration/painting) with PA public education certification circa 1991. I loved teaching kids...and hated the adults... so  this is why I work on cars instead.

Paul, my MA is from Carnegie Mellon. I taught adults, well some of them, at Bucks County Community College for 48 years. Loved every minute of it. But I always said if I had to teach smaller children I would teach K or 1st grade. High school, nope. I remember what I was like and I would not want to have me in a classroom.
