Wiring question - hazard switch for 1976

I'm halfway through repairing a faulty hazard switch, using helpful advice from this thread: https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/topic/130921-hazard-switch-repair-worked/. I'm having a difficult time with wiring diagrams (for reference, it's a 1976/U.S./manual).

This is the main source I'm using: http://www.2002tii.org/diagrams/bmw2002-usa-1976.pdf (the switch is #54). This color version is helping: https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/topic/209573-76-wiring-diagram-key/?do=findComment&comment=1232291. But the labels are illegible in the former, and the latter is unlabeled.

I can only figure out a few; can anyone help fill in the question marks?

Red/White - ?
Violet/White - ?
Green/Yellow - 49a
Brown - 31
Grey/Blue - ?
Blue/Red - ?
Blue/Black - ?
Green/Violet - 49

Many thanks--

Oops...forgot to add the terminal numbers:

Red/White - 58d

Violet/White - R

Green/Yellow - L

Brown - 31

Grey/Blue - 49a

Blue/Violet - 30

Black/Blue - 87

Green/Violet - 49

Notes:

- Tab #15 - Not used.

- Resistor between #49 and #58d

- Some color codes and terminals are different from your list.

- My car is also a '76 manual.

Many thanks @John76. Think I've resolved this for my switch (not sure why it's different from others, but it is...). For posterity:

Red/White - 30
Violet/White - 15
Green/Yellow - 49a
Brown - 31
Grey/Blue - [tab with resistor]
Blue/Red - L
Blue/Black - R
Green/Violet - 49

It worked beautifully for a while, but something went wrong when I attempted to re-seat the switch in the dash. I blew fuse 6, and even after replacing that and re-verifying connections at the hazard switch, the blinkers/hazard lights no longer work (though the headlights still do). Wondering if I damaged a relay? If anyone has advice, please share.

Wow did I get this wrong!

I lost sleep over the differences between what I listed and what you responded with. Your connections are correct!

Duh!!!  R = Blue/black for the Right turn signal lights.  L = Blue/red for the Left lights.  30 is +12V, 15 is switched +12V.

And, what I thought was the 87 terminal is actually 49!  I must have read it upside-down (hidden under the resistor) when I sketched this switch in my younger days....probably 1976 when I installed my gauges.

Sorry for the misinformation!!  I'm much older now, but not that much wiser.

John

PS: I got 2 out of 8 right (#31 and #49).....but 25% is still a grade "F" ☹️
