Chamonix (White)

Matching numbers, (steering column, engine block and fender.)

Good daily driver quality car, runs and stops well, no overheating, locks work

Interior: Very good condition.

·         New carpet

·         Restored e21 Recaro seats with matching rear seat upholstery

·         Uncut rear parcel shelf and door cards

·         Head liner and visors very good

·         Recent windshield

Mechanical

·         Reliable running condition, can be daily driven

·         Recent battery, starter, and cables

·         Transmission shifts smoothly, no transmission or differential noises

·         Leaks and burns some oil

·         Runs fine on regular gasoline

·         Lights, turn signals, brake lights, windshield wiper in working order.

·         Windshield washer and rear defrost do not work

·         Good tires

Body

·         Floor pan and “frame”, structural members, in good condition

·         Noted minor rust in door corners, bottom of fenders and right side rocker

·         Shock towers show signs of rust, will need attention some day

·         Can be seen on a lift locally (Winston-Salem)

Other

·         Was totaled by insurance company in 2015.  Accident was light front-end involving hood, nose bumper, radiator, fan, and water pump.  I bought the car back from the insurance company.  No damage to structural members.  Photos of accident damage available.  Buyer should check with their jurisdiction on this.  Title itself is not “branded,” but I don’t know how the transfer will be handled.  My registration card that is renewed yearly is labeled “Total Loss Claim”

o   Original seating in lieu of Recaro seats and matching rear seat in driver condition

o   Including 4 Ronal “Kleeblatt” wheels in straight restorable condition

o   Including A/C console and components removed from the car

o   Including the original “big bus” steering wheel

o   Including body metal for future repair, driver door (new,) passenger side front rocker panel (new) and rear shock tower/wheel arches (used.)

 

$22,500.00 $19,500 with Recaro interior, $18,000 with original seating.  Will consider all offers.
