SoCal trip

A few months ago we dacided to take a couple weeks for a vacation and drive down to San Diego. I was a little surprised that Rachael wanted to take the 1800.  Over the last couple weeks I was getting the car ready. Making sure things are all in order, seat belts are installed, the fluids are topped off, the lights all work. Yes, we got new nipples for the trip. Seems a lot different then just jumping in the car and heading on the road with 20 other mechanics. 

 

It was a big coincidence that there are 2 events happening in Socal as we are here.  Lyon Museum Gathering and LaJolla Independent drive and BBQ. We will be attending both.

Went to a 40’s event there many years ago with my wife’s Uncle, it was a dinner dance with a big band, awesome night, they even started up one of those fighters that were on the aircraft carriers during the war, I remember the plane was blue and had folding wings… can’t remember the model other than it was a fighter….
