73 2002tii for sale. Have had this since 2006 (bought on long island, (was in Nevada before that), I lived in New England for years, now San Diego) and unfortunately it's time for it to go. 

 

Clean title

5 speed transmission

Recaro seats

battery in trunk

Drove this about 10-20 miles a week since being out in San Diego.

Smog exempt as it's a 73 Last serviced at La Jolla Independent about 2 years ago.

Had spare tire wheel well replaced at Miramar Auto Body a year and a half ago.

 

Has recently started running hot.

 

Had everything serviced in 2010 by Marc at German Performance Sevice in Boston

Odometer stopped working around 24,000 miles. Probably around 2013.

I put about 20k miles on it since owning it. Just used it to get to work and the beach when living in Cambridge, Ma. was stored in a garage for winters. Engine was rebuilt before I purchased car.

I viewed the Dropbox pictures and the video- but no VIN. Since it’s from the NE, wonder how close it is to my 73.

 

FYI- video shows what appears to be an open port on the air cleaner just before the throttle body rubber boot. That’s letting dirty air in.

The bumpers — extended an extra inch over pre-1973 bumpers — certainly look like a 1973 model. But a 1973 tii has a firewall notch and a dash clock, neither of which is present here. If the VIN is from 2762630 through 2764521, it’s a 1973 U.S.-spec tii.
