Hole in top of Tii front cowl, what's this for?

No, I haven't seen a dual distributor M10.

Dual points...yes, I use to have a dual point Mallory that I sent to Tom ('76Mintgrun02) for his collection of fun things to play with.

I always thought the hole on the Left side of the firewall was for the right-hand-drive motors.

SO, with that in mind .....  Here are 2 more examples.

 

EXAMPLE A:   the '72tii that just sold for $93,000 ...... it had no hole in the cowl .........

EXAMPLE B:   another '72tii just this morning went on BaT, and it has a hole in the cowl !!

Since no mechanic <_< has ever tuned my one owner, there no hole and now it doesn't have a distributor!

A radiator shop is a good place to take a leak.

 

I have no idea what I'm doing but I know I'm really good at it.
