Rear Euro license plate bracket / rear bumper rechroming?

I have a US '75 2002 with Euro bumper conversion and am looking

for the rear license plate bracket. Are any available or should I just cut the

side lights off the US bracket and use the bumper mounted lights?

Also, anyone know of a good rechrome shop in S. FL to redo the

rear bumper?

Thanks in advance.

Probably the easiest way, or you can just drill (gasp!) a couple of holes in the rear body panel, and interpose a pair of rubber washer spacers about 3/8" thick between the plate and the body.  That's what most roundie owners do--or the selling dealer did for 'em when they bought the car new.

There is a Mercedes front license plate bracket that fits the rear on a 2002 well and doesn't have the lights integrated with the frame.   A couple rubber washers as Mike suggested and Bob's your uncle.   I have one installed on my 1973tii.   Good luck,

John

EDIT: Searched and found:

I ordered the center Euro section fro wallothnesch.com with license plate light holes alrady cut out.  Also ordered the license plate lights, seam covers, rubber bumper strip.  No regrets.
