Shipping an engine.

A radiator shop is a good place to take a leak.

 

I have no idea what I'm doing but I know I'm really good at it.

When I shipped mine to Ken, I just strapped it laying down on a pallet. It came back looking much better in a custom crate. ;)

I had never done this before, but went with TForce Freight to ship it down to him, ( I guess it used to be part of UPS), but it was NOT user friendly, and in fact at one point they lost the engine.  To get it shipped back to me, I went through U-Ship and found an option through Old Dominion Freight Line.  It was much easier than TForce.  The only gotcha, was that their Cargo Insurance doesn't cover rebuilt engines. 

 

You may be able to save a good chunk if you have access to a fork lift or loading dock.
