Headliner Droops

As it turns out, the headliner was installed incorrectly. I found a reliable local upholsterer who has ordered a new one. In the meantime, I had him take out the existing so I could track it at Road Atlanta last week. Much better weekend without this nuisance pressing on the crown of my helmet.

The rubber grommets that the cross bars go into in the frame are ripped and the crossbars are not under upward pressure from the bow in cross bar…

Don’t let the fear of what could happen

Great, makes total sense

Make sure new ones are used. My experience, even with new ones, is that some beams might still rotate. This is true especially if you have added any type of noise insulation/Dynamat/padding on the roof. Your upholsterer might have an idea how to secure the beams and prevent them for rotating
